I joined MASK same year. I was active member of MASK until I moved to Islamabad in 2008. I should mention here that MASK is a highly organized club, I would rate it the best club in Pakistan. It certainly has the best field in the world which is ideal for RC flying. I would also like to thank all MASK members but especially Mr. Habib M Habib, Feroz sahib, Mr. M Isa and Mr. S M Tariq, who helped me lot.

How to contact you?
My contact 0333 221 7028, 051 449 0298 Any interesting incident you would like to share with RCPAK readers?
In 2002 I and an expert fellow modeler Mohammad Isa were flying a formation at the MASK field at Korangi, Karachi. We both had FLASH 60 in the air. The only other flyer at the time was my other friend Kamal Shamsi who was flying his BULL DOG 60. At the time when I and Isa were doing a ‘KNIFE EDGE’ from the right to left, Kamal Shamsi’s Bull Dog emerged in front of us. The plane approached us at low level at a very fast speed. I shouted ‘Isa, DUCK’. The plane missed my head by a whisker. BANG. I whispered ‘Isa, Are you alive’. ‘Barely’ he said. What happened to Shamsi’s plane: Total! It pierced through the door of the car behind me. Both of our planes survived though :-).
Any comment about Islamabad Aeromodelling Club?
No comment. I only know two of its members, Jamshed Ishrat and Kamal Butt.
Any advice to youngsters intending to join Aeromodelling?
Come to the field. Enjoy. Before starting do find out the expenses. It is an expensive hobby. Once you have joined this hobby do build the model yourself. You will thoroughly enjoy the building part.
Any problems faced in Islamabad?
There is no proper field either in Islamabad or in Rawalpindi.
Any concluding statement?
It is a fantastic hobby.
