Anyone has has any experience of airbrush/spray paint on Oracover/Ultracoat/MonoCoat? I have heard that as opposed to common belief the paint does not chip and the results are quite good too???

I have to read up on that. Thinner based (car paints) are no good for the job, perhaps polyurethane paint may work.
Gravity sucks . . .

Liquid Acrylic paint which is extendable by water based extender is the best. It dries out to a flexible coat and becomes water proof after drying. Unfortunately it is not available in Pakistan.

"You can airbrush just fine onto monokote, ultracote, and most coverings, but you must follow a couple of easy steps to assure success at it.

1.) First you need to prep the area you are gonna airbrush.
a.) Go over are with a fine grit sandpaper( 500 grit) or emory cloth til finish is dull. Carefull here, apply light pressure.
b.) After obtaining a dull finish, wipe area down with a cloth and acetone, or denatured alcohol to clean sanded area..

2.) Using masking tape and newspaper, outline area to be painted and cover area not to be painted to protect from over spray.

3.) Now for the painting. Here you have 2 alternatives to choose from. You can use the paint of your choice and airbrush away, but
if the paint you chose is not a laquer based paint, after it drys you will have to apply a clear coat of eurethane over you painting
to protect it from the fuel. Or you can simply choose a laquer based paint to airbrush your art with at start, and no clearcoat will
be needed.

Hope this helps you guys.
