Interesting choice. You must post a video showing take-off and landing in water, once you have built this model.

I was wondering if there was a particular reason why the eDBF V2 has to be done in such a short period? This is because I'm thinking that it might put off some of the members to join as they might not have the time to complete their builds...

Beside this competition this time is all about completing the build with best quality and total personnal touch with RCPAK cosmetic look, therefore a bit more time would be best to achieve a clean and presentable build which afterall will be an additional advertisment for RCPAK as I will post my build on the different forum I'm part off...

Just a thought...

I've printed out the 20 tiled page PDF plan, Courtesy of Steve Shumate for the Free PDF plan! It is assembled now, I should cut my template a bit later on and see if I have the right color Depron in stock before cutting my parts.

Then I will be stuck as for the assembly of my parts as I will be waiting for some gear that have to go in as I will assemble the plane

Cheers Foxbat! I like it as it seems to be very safe to take off and land on water comparing to other types of seaplane... Beside it is cool to take off from Grass area as well so perfect to me as I don't have to the laguna nearby my place to fly it, I just walk to the gol greens and take it from there...

First trial will be done from there anyway for safety. Final maiden will be done from water as I will have all the decorations on.

For sure Mody! I always wanted to do a seaplane but it is a bit delicate as you can loose your gear very easily on bad landing, here with this build I should not be taking too much risk! Well hopefully! Lol
