Hmmm.. I found some Acrylic paints from Winsor & Newton locally. They are supposedly artist paints used for painting on canvas, etc. They are water/oil based acrylics. The green shade is semi-transparent though... so I will see if the shop carries alternative green shades. They cost about PKR280/60ml tube.

If you check out the stationary shop they will surely have the Poster Colour. It comes in small tubes or small bottles and would be cheaper. Pelikan used to be a famous manufacturer but now Chinese are also available. Also the colour is opaque and not translucent. If it was not solid, you probably were shown the colour that is used for glass painting.
Again, try out the local hardware store and get a small tin of any brand of emulsion paint. Forget the "acrylic" nomenclature. The shopkeeper would go "Duh!"

The smallest (1ltr) tin of water based emulsion paint costs PKR400-650 depending on brand (Berger, Nippon, etc). That is a bit on the expensive side when I only need a small quantity.

Drawing the outline of the moon and star using a pencil.

Note the smudge of green paint on the foam left behind from testing the color shade of green over gray since I will be painting over the existing color instead of sanding/scraping it off (damaging the foam in the process).

Anyone know how to scrap off the existing stickers without damaging the foam skin?

The paint doesn't sticks well to the fiberglass tape so I might have to cover the fiberglass tape with a layer of paper masking tape.

Ice cubes didn't work. Is there a particular method/technique to it?

I think I should do something RC on 14th August. I may put my Pakistani flag on one of my plane and fly it in my neighbourhood and also in the park where I fly.
